FUN FACT:
As a former Crusader himself, Dan fits comfortably back into the Crusaders environment with his new role as Forwards Coach for 2023/24. Before being named as the Crusaders forwards coach, Dan was and still is the assistant coach of the Tasman Mako. Dan honed his coaching trade under Jase Ryan, former forwards coach. But is excited to inject his very own knowledge and experience to the environment.
Dan represented the Crusaders in 2009 - 2010 alongside Richie McCaw, Dan Carter, Corey Flynn, Brad Thorne and Chris Jack.
Dan is a butcher by trade and actually owns the Mad Butcher in Nelson!! If you are ever in Nelson, pop on down to Dan’s Mad Butcher and they will sort you out with the best meat to eat whilst watching the footy!!
